Student loan (law of 22 June 2000)

This is a loan provided by the CEDIES department, the "Centre de Documentation et d'Information sur les Etudes Supérieures" (Centre for Documentation and Information on Higher Education) of the Ministère de la Culture, de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (Ministry of Culture, Higher Education and Research).

“UNIF” student loans

In addition to all the financial support (loan or/and grant) provided by the state, BCEE offers two types of UNIF student loans on favourable terms:

1) The UNIF student loan for university studies

This is a loan for up to EUR 5,000 per annum, or EUR 2,500 per semester, with a ceiling of EUR 30,000 for a full course of studies (maximum duration six years).

2) The UNIF student loan for postgraduate studies

Postgraduate studies means additional studies beyond a first degree (Masters, Doctorate), after the first degree has been awarded.
The loan amounts to EUR 5,000 per annum, with a ceiling of EUR 15,000 per specialisation (maximum duration 3 years).
